Poland, NGL’s European Hub, Has Doubled the Company’s Transport Capacity

New Generation of Logistics (NGL), which provides integrated logistics solutions between Turkey and European countries, has established Poland as its logistics hub for European transport operations. Grzegorz Janas, NGL’s Country Manager for Poland, said: “With its developing transport infrastructure, Poland is becoming the heart of Europe. Thanks to our operations in the country, we have significantly increased our speed in European transport.”

Poland, which has become an even more important location in logistical terms following the war between Ukraine and Russia, has begun to take the top spot among the countries where both importers and exporters, as well as logistics companies, are investing. Significant investments are also being made in the country’s transport infrastructure by the European Union (EU).

New Generation of Logistics (NGL), a Turkey-based company offering integrated logistics solutions between Europe and Turkey – particularly in Eastern Europe, the Baltic States and Scandinavia – is also increasing its investments in Poland.

NGL, which has positioned Poland as its logistics hub in Europe and opened a branch there last year, is expanding its warehousing and transport capacity.

“We are increasing the number of vehicles with Polish number plates”

Grzegorz Janas, the company’s Country Manager for Poland, explained that, in addition to their own warehouses in Poland, they will increase the number of contracted warehouses and accelerate investments in their own fleet of vehicles with Polish number plates.

Janas noted that with nearly 30 minivans in Poland, they can reach all European Union countries within 48–72 hours, adding: “Poland’s road, air, sea and rail infrastructure is developing dynamically. Due to factors such as its strategic location at the intersection of major transport routes on the north-south and east-west axes, as well as warehouse rental prices, we will be further expanding our operations here.”

Janas explained that they collect groupage consignments from countries such as Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK at their Polish warehouse and transport them to Turkey, noting that they follow the same process for consignments departing from Turkey.

Noting that groupage transport, which has attracted significant interest, now accounts for 80 per cent of the company’s road transport turnover, Janas remarked, “Poland is the heart of Europe. We can reach every corner of the continent more quickly. Thanks to its strong transport infrastructure, we also believe the country will gain even greater significance in terms of transport activities.”

Janas added that the company would be taking part in the Translogistica trade fair in Warsaw this November, and that they aim to increase their number of European customers.
